Built for Serviceability

The Breakaway Camlock is designed to be reusable and field-serviceable. After a separation event, replace the sacrificial break tabs and inspect seals before returning the unit to operation.

Routine Inspection

We recommend:

  • Visual inspection during regular equipment checks

  • Inspecting tabs for wear or deformation

  • Checking seals for damage or debris

  • Verifying hardware remains secure

If the unit has experienced a separation event, rebuild before returning to service.

After a Separation Event

  1. Remove damaged break tabs

  2. Inspect housing and sealing surfaces

  3. Replace tabs and any worn components

  4. Reassemble and return to service

Simple reset. Minimal downtime.

Recommended Inventory

For active operations, especially in remote or high-demand environments, we recommend keeping spare rebuild kits on hand to avoid production delays.
